Setting up Google Analytics does not require extensive backend knowledge, which is suitable for all business owners. In fact, it takes only 5 steps to set up Google analytics.

Below, I am going to share with you these 3 simple steps to set up Google Analytics for your business.

Step 1 – Set up Google Analytics

Visit Google Analytics and sign up for the GA. Once you click on the Signup button, you will be taken to the “New Account” page.

Here, fill all the fields along with your website’s name and URL. The most tricky part here is to select your business category. You will have to pick from the preset categories. So, be sure to pick the most relevant one.

After you are done with this, accept the terms and conditions option below and hit next.

Step 2 – Getting the tracking code

On hitting next, you will be redirected to the tracking code page.

Copy the tracking code. This is the tag that you need to add to your website to allow Google Analytics to start tracking your website. A tracking ID is something like UA-000000-1. In this 000000 refers to your account number and (1) is the number of properties associated with the account.

Step 3 – Inserting Code On the Website

Once you have the copy of the code, visit your website’s header file and paste the code after thetag. Once you are done pasting the code on your website, you will have to come back to Google Analytics and hit verify button.

This is the first question that I have been continuously asked. Not every client is unaware of what SEO is, but most people often have this term confused with Digital Marketing. Trust me, this is a very popular question that I have come across over the years as a freelance digital marketer. SEO cost often varies depending on the scale you want to raise your business. The catch, however, is that they tend to include only black hat tactics, which will deliver results only for a short span and will harm your website more than benefit it in a long run. The estimated time of getting any visible results is approximately 3 months. Use keywords naturally

Now coming to the major part of the SEO content writing – The Keywords. In my experience, if you are a freelance content writer like me, the set of keywords will be provided to you by the client, and if you are running a digital marketing company, your SEO team will be responsible to provide keywords to you. Once, you have the set of the keywords, all you have to do is follow the technique mentioned above in the 1st point. Choose keywords on the basis of the target audience

There is another scenario that I being a freelancer have come across. Well, this might be because I am an SEO freelancer as well. This is the scenario in which you will be hired to not just for your writing skills but for keyword research as well. In this case, you might need Google Keyword Planner to find the keywords. Before you start just typing the phrases, make sure you also refer to the related searches at the end of the SERPs. I personally love this technique. This technique has really helped me rank the articles I write. You must prepare a set of at least 3 Keywords if you are writing a 1000 word article and optimize it for them.

Headers are important as the Google crawler tends to crawl the meta tags, title, and description first and then the heading tags, then bullets, and finally the body. Remember this. While working on search intent you must know about the three C’s formula of search intent – content type, content format, and content angle. First is a content type, meaning you must know what type of content are you preparing – whether it is a promotional piece, PR, case study, web content, blog post, or ORM article. Second – content format. With content format, I mean you must analyze and find out what type of content is ranking. Whether it is a listicle, opinion article, or news piece, you need to work on the format accordingly. Third – content angle. Find out who is your target audience who will search for this content and who will probably benefit from it. According to that find an angle to work on.
